Have you ever had problems in your life that you didn’t have an answer too? Maybe they were problems related to finances, relationships, or your work. I think we all come to places in our lives where we need help because we don’t have answers. The good thing about being a believer in Christ is that when we don’t have the answer, God has all the wisdom we need. The key ingredient to receive this wisdom is to be dependent upon Him. When we are dependent on ourselves we try to figure out everything without God. But if we are dependent upon God we will seek His wisdom through prayer, His Word and His Spirit.

In James 1:5-6 [amp] it says "If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind.”

The last time you had a problem you couldn’t solve, did you ask God for wisdom? And if you did, did you ask in faith believing that when you asked God gave it to you? God has all the wisdom we need for this life, but in order to receive it we have to be humble enough to ask for it. A proud person won’t ask God for wisdom. It takes a humbles person to say “ I don’t know what to do” and then in faith ask our good God for wisdom to guide them through this life.

In Proverbs 11:2 [KJV] it says, “When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.” Today if you need wisdom, it is available. All you have to do is humble yourself and ask God for it in faith. He promises that when you ask in faith that He will give it to you. In Proverbs 2:6 [KJV] it says, "For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding."
